  Non-Playable Characters

There are also many generals that did some important things or played a part in the game but aren't playable in this game. A short excerpt is written about some of these generals below, since they are non playable characters there isn't too much information about them. Cheng Pu - One of Wu's most famous non playable generals. He served Wu for three generations and was know as a veteran of the battlefield. He plays a part in almost every Wu battle and is said to have had a serpant spear. Gongsun Zan - He served the Coalition forces in the Yellow Turban Rebellion and Dong Zhuo's uprising. He is the leader of the famous Bai Ma cavalry, a cavalry of beautiful white horses, known throughout the land. Zhao Yun originally served under him before he joined Shu. Gongsun Zan and his son Gongsun Yue were eventually defeated by Yuan Shao. Han Sui - He served under Ma Teng and Ma Chao. His most famous apperance was in the battle at Tong Gate where he fell for Jia Xu's plot to get him to join Cao Cao. This enraged Ma Chao(who's forces he left) and he cut off Han Sui's left arm. He Jin - Leader of the Han forces. He lead the coalition forces against the yellow turban rebellion. He does not make a big apperance as his main time was before the three kingdoms era. He reached to the position 'Commander General'. Huang Zu - Gan Ning's original master before he went to serve Wu. Huang Zu lost the battle of Xia Kou to Wu. Huang Zu is known for his cowardlyness, especially when he tells Cai Mao(Cai Mao eventually joined Wei) to make his fleet ready so he can escape from the Wu attack. Liu Biao - He was a genius but he was also indecisive, causing him to miss many oppertunities to unify the land. He was attacked by Sun Jian whom he killed in an ambush but he played more of a part before the three kingdoms era. He died age 66 which wasn't bad for those times. Liu Chan - Liu Bei's son and successor. He was saved by Zhao Yun at the battle of Chang Ban when he was a child, escaping along with his father and the to-be Shu forces. When he gained control over the lands of Shu after Liu Bei passed away, he wasn't the greatest leader. After the defense of Bai Di castle, he vowed to become as strong as his father was. He was eventually defeated by Zhong Hui, Huang Hui, and Deng Ai of Wei, who declared independance in Shu. Ma Dai: Cousin of Ma Chao and a very vital part to Zhuge Liang's northern campaigns. Ma Teng - Ma Chao's father. He defended his land from Dong Zhuo's attack along with Ma Chao, Pang De and Han Sui. This was his only apperance in DW5, and he was eventually killed by Cao Cao. Zhong Hui - He served in the campaign of Wei taking Shu. A general who appeared towards the end of the three kingdoms era. He, Huang Hui and Deng Ai conquered Shu, and declared independance in Shu. He also played a part at the Wu Zhang Plains where he set up the catapults to bombard the approaching Shu forces. Thanks to Matt J for writing the above. Additional Thanks to Master Zhang He for also providing information on Ma Dai.
