Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends is basically an expansion pack for Dynasty Warriors 3. While it can be played as a stand-alone game on its own right, you will get far more out the game if you combine it with DW3.

  • Musou Modes for the 7 unaligned characters
  • 5th weapons
  • Very Hard and Very Easy Difficulties
  • New layouts of forces and characters on pre-existing maps
  • New Items exclusive to DW3:XL
  • Ability to play DW3 with the features from DW3:XL by loading the data from the disc
  • 4 new challenge modes
  • A new combo system has been introduced. The more combo points you can rack up the better your items at the end of the level will be
  • Bodyguards are now far more customizable than ever before
  • You can reset individual officer statistics to their start values without starting a new game, allowing you to build up officers of yor choice again
  • Almost 30 new video sequences
