Fourth Weapons In Dynasty Warriors 3

This page will contain information on how to get each character's 4th weapon. Each 4th weapon must be obtained on Hard mode. The characters will be listed in Kingdoms and alphabetically within.

Kingdom of Shu

• Guan Yu - Guan Yu's Escape - Pass the 4th Gate.
  
• Huang Zhong - Battle of Mt. Ding Jun - Go down the east path and kill Yue Jin and Zhang He. Then clear the two offense gates and the supply gate. Go up the mountain and kill Gao Shun, then Cao Zhen and then go defeat Xiahou Yuan. After Cao Cao arrives you'll get an item report, the 4th weapon.
  
• Jiang Wei - Battle of Wu Zhang Plains - Complete all events before the death of Kongming. Protect the wooden ox and then kill Zhang He and Xiahou Dun.
  
• Liu Bei - Yi Ling - Kill Sun Shang Xiang.
  
• Ma Chao - Battle of Tong Gate - Get Han Sui to defect then kill him.
  
• Pang Tong - Cheng Du - Kill Zhang Ren after he surrounds you.
  
• Wei Yan - Jie Ting - Save Ma Su, kill all enemy Wei generals and then go into Sima Yi's camp.
  
• Zhang Fei - Battle Of Chang Ban - Kill Xiahou Yuan and Xiahou Dun and then get the event where Zhang Fei shouts at the bridge.
  
• Zhao Yun - Battle of Chang Ban - Kill Xiahou Dun, Zhang Liao and Zhang He, then activate the cutscene of Zhao Yun charging the enemy by going to Liu Bei's location.
  
• Zhuge Liang - Battle Of Wu Zhang Plains - Kill Cao Xiu.

Kingdom of Wei

• Cao Cao - Yellow Turban Rebellion - Defeat Zhang Bao and Zhang Liang without taking or losing any gates.
  
• Dian Wei - Battle at Wan Castle - Defeat Hu Che Er.
  
• Sima Yi - Battle of Wu Zhang Plains - Defeat Zhang Bao, after 20 minutes the weapon will appear.
  
• Xiahou Dun - Guan Yu's Escape - Kill Zhou Cang, Chen Zhen and Guan Ping.
  
• Xiahou Yuan - Battle Of Mt. Jing Dun - When Huang Zhong charges, kill him.
  
• Xu Huang - Battle of Fan Castle - Kill Guan Ping before the flood event.
  
• Xu Zhu - Battle Of Tong Gate - Kill Ma Dai and Pang De. Then go inside Tong Gate.
  
• Zhang He - Battle of Guan Di - Kill Chun Yuqiong with Wen Chou and Yan Liang still alive.
  
• Zhang Liao - Battle of Hei Fei - Kill Zhou Tai.
  
• Zhen Ji - Jie Ting - Kill Jiang Wei.

Kingdom of Wu

• Da Qiao - You Ting - Kill Zhang He.
  
• Gan Ning - Battle of He Fei - Wait for Zhang Liao to kill Taishi Ci via cutscene.
  
• Huang Gai - Battle of Chi Bi - Defeat Zhang Liao.
  
• Lu Meng - Battle of Fan Castle(Wu Side) - Defeat Guan Ping.
  
• Lu Xun - Yi Ling - Have Gan Ning or Lu Meng break through the Stone Warrior Formation, then kill Zhuge Liang.
  
• Sun Ce - Assault on Wu Territory - Make Taishi Ci defect to your side by killing Liu Yong.
  
• Sun Jian - Surprise Attack on Liu Biao - Defeat Lu Gong.
  
• Sun Shang Xiang - You Ting - Defeat Cao Xiu.
  
• Sun Quan - Battle of He Fei Castle - Defeat Zhang He.
  
• Taishi Ci - Assault on Wu Territory - Kill everyone except Sun Ce.
  
• Xiao Qiao - Nanman Stage(Wu side) - Kill Zhu Rong.
  
• Zhou Yu - Battle of Chi Bi - Defeat Xiahou Dun and Zhang He.

Unaligned Officers

• Diao Chan - Hu Lao Gate - Defeat Yuan Shu
  
• Dong Zhuo - Battle of Hu Lao Gate - Wait for everyone except Diao Chan and Lu Bu to be killed. When Diao Chan then defects, kill her.
  
• Fu Xi - Surprise Attack on Liu Biao(Liu Biao's Forces) - Defeat Huang Gai.
  
• Lu Bu - Battle of Hu Lao Gate - Defeat Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Liu Bei and Gongsun Zan.
  
• Meng Huo - Nanman Stage - Defeat either Ma Chao, Zhang Yi, and Ma Dai or Zhang Fei, Zhang Bao, and Guan Xing.
  
• Nu Wa - Battle of Wan Castle(Zhang Xiu's Forces) - Kill Dian Wei.
  
• Yuan Shao - Guan Du - Keep Wen Chao alive for 10 minutes.
  
• Zhang Jiao - Yellow Turban Rebellion - Kill either Liu Bei and his officers, Cao Cao and his officers, or Sun Jian and his officers.
  
• Zhu Rong - Nanman Stage - Keep Dong Tu Na and Ahui Nan alive for 15 minutes until they retreat.
