History
Kanetsugu Naoe was a brilliant retainer of the Uesugi clan.
Background
A supporter of the Uesugi, Kanetsugu Naoe looked up to genius tactician and leader Kenshin Uesugi with awe. Later in the Sengoku period, he formed strong bonds of friendship and trust with the enemies of Ieyasu Tokugawa and his allies. Kanetsugu became intertwined with Keiji Maeda, Yukimura Sanada, and Mitsunari Ishida.
Warrior Detail
With a sword in one hand and magic charms in the other, Kanetsugu battles in an unorthodox style not unlike a combination of Zhou Yu and Zuo Ci of the Dynasty Warriors series. His average swordplay is easily overshadowed by his impressive magic skills of blasting lasers and swrling seals.
